Hotel Giglio Florence

We were actually surprised by the warm welcome we received upon arrival at the hotel. The receptionist, Luca, were pretty good too make us feel at home and provided us with helpful information and assistance throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and had a unique touch with luminescent stars on the ceiling, creating a magical atmosphere. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to public transportation and a botanical garden nearby. The breakfast offered a nice selection, including fresh fruit salad, a pleasant change compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy. The owners, Marco and his wife, were always present and contributed to the cute atmosphere with their friendly and helpful demeanor. we felt a genuine sense of open-hearted welcome, made our stay at Giglio special.

it did get a bit noisy at times due to other guests. these minor issues did not significantly impact our overall experience.

I recently had a wonderful short break in a hotel in Florence. The accommodation was comfortable and the location couldn't have been better, with attractions like San Marco and the Accademia just a stone's throw away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with a ticketing issue. The breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful, setting us up for the day ahead. I especially loved the charming, vintage style of the rooms, complete with modern bathrooms and air conditioning.
